Club re-launch at Dysons Cycles, Dunstable – March 2000

Cycle Club Luton was formed in 1972 and since then has been amongst the most successful in the area with many riders progressing to success at national and international level.

Phil Galloway, Kevin Morgan, Martin Badell, Mark McKay and Simon Gaywood (with coaching by former National team coach Neil Gardner) all represented Great Britain and between them won several National Championships and championship medals.

Wing Commander Runeckles leads his Squadron during a race around the Woodside Estate – also seen here in action is Al Brown (who strangely looks no different than he does today!)
Kevin Morgan – mid 1980’s
Alan Galloway – racing at Welwyn Track as a junior
